    Aspiring blogger? Instagram obsessed? Just have a cute kid or dog that you want better photos of? In this workshop photographer and social media strategist Dani Bruflodt will teach you tips for taking gorgeous, high-quality photographs using your iPhone. The course will cover the basic functions of your iPhone’s native camera, tips for getting the best results, setting up an affordable home studio, and ideas for editing, printing, sharing and storing your digital images. The course is updated to include the new iPhone 7/7+ and iOS 11 features! Although the course is specific to iPhones, all smartphone users are welcome and will find the course helpful regardless of the device they have.

    Dive into the ‘at home styling/studio’ portion of the class and practice arranging every day objects with the guidance of pro photographer and stylist Marla Bergh. We’ll review affordable setups and tools to use for styling and shooting photos at home. Learn how to make your photos look polished and more interesting by applying easy composition tips and tricks. This introduction to photo styling will help you control the images you want to create and get you sharing more of your snapshots!

    About the Instructors:

    Dani Bruflodt is a social media strategist at Thyme is Honey, where she manages social media and online content for a host of brands, helping them curate beautiful feeds and deliver perfectly-worded messages to their audiences, ranging is size from 10,000 to over 5 million. Along with her social media work, Dani writes and designs for her lifestyle blog, Thyme is Honey, as well as her corresponding Etsy Shop. Her site has averaged over 1 million pageviews annually since 2014, and her shop has completed more than 8,600 sales to date.     Marla Bergh is a Madison and Chicago photographer and founder of The Food Court Agency where she is Creative Director and Lead Photographer for social media campaigns. Her #hustle includes styled photo shoots and content development for culinary and lifestyle brands. As a veteran digital marketer, Marla has worked on projects for nationwide brands such as Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Nordstrom, and Ralph Lauren. Her experience with large-scale digital campaigns and 10+ years working for creative agencies has given her a passion for sharing her expertise with up-and-coming brands and small local businesses.
